I have been working as a Frontend Web Developer for 3+ years now. Previously worked as a Senior Chemist in a Multinational Coatings company. The change in my career has been a plan for many years already and now, after sleepless nights, self-studying and doing side-projects, I am a full time Web Developer in a custom Web Development company in Canada. With my excellent problem solving skills from being a Chemist for a decade, I am able to contribute in Frontend Web development projects by using React with TypeScript/JavaScript and NodeJS to create APIs. All the knowledge, experiences as well as the soft skills I gained contributed to me being an effective Web Developer. I am delighted that I am able to finally pursue this dream job. It's never too late. Dedication, perseverance, and consistency are what aided me in achieving this new career.
